                              Theidea of a personal, rocket-powered flight device has captured mansimagination for decades, yet the reality of such a device remainsdepressingly distant. This disparity between dream and reality mirrorsthe experience of playing Dark Void. There are moments when jetpackflight is joyous, freewheeling fun, such as when youre pulling offdaring acrobatic maneuvers, dogfighting with UFOs, and boldly zoomingaround enclosed areas. It gives you a thrilling taste of the speedypromise of a jetpack-powered world, yet this fantasy is too oftenbrought down to earth by the rest of Dark Voids gameplay. Thethird-person shooter sections are competent but mundane, and there arelong sections when fully powered flight isnt possible. Furthermore, thecampaign is only about eight hours long, and there are no multiplayermodes to bolster replayability. While there is certainly high-flying funto be had, the lackluster action hinders Dark Voids lofty ambitions.

Unfortunately,the first few hours of the game dont do much to get your hopes up.After a perfunctory and pointless prologue, you begin the game proper onyour own two feet. Dark Void has a sticky cover system, and much of theon-foot shooter action relies on moving from cover to cover. Some ofthese sections have vertical areas where taking cover means leaning overthe edge of a platform or hanging below one and aiming upward. Its anovel twist, and it shakes up your spatial awareness in a way youllappreciate once you take to the skies. Shooting mechanics are competent,and you can upgrade your run-of-the-mill weapons to make them fairlyfun to shoot. Enemies are very resilient to your weapon fire, though afew shots to the head will yield a satisfying explosion, and takingcover is often prudent. However, you can kill most of your enemies withone punch, which makes sitting behind cover and firing feel slow andineffective. Dark Void counters this by throwing more enemies at you,and at the end of skirmishes, you generally feel a mild sense ofsatisfaction. Yet the freedom and speed of jetpack flight is anever-present prospect, casting its shadow over the third-person shootersections and making them feel a bit like extra padding.

Yourfirst flight entails little more than hovering, but it gives you a tastefor exploring and using vertical space. Dark Void takes circle-strafingto a whole new level, and shooting down on enemies can increase yourchance of scoring headshots. Hovering does leave you more exposed toenemy fire, but it also allows you to zip over to an enemy and deliver adeadly melee attack. There are a number of ways to dispose of yourenemies during combat, including some high-impact quick-time events forbigger enemies, and taking advantage of this variety can make the ho-humcombat slightly more engaging. But even though your enemies change,their appearance does not vary significantly. It can start to feelrepetitive, despite Dark Voids solid level design.

Once you donyour fully powered jetpack, things get a lot more interesting. You canlaunch into the air at any time, and the flailing liftoff animation is agreat visualization of the forces that propel you. If you dont aimproperly, ground-based takeoffs can send you careening into the earth,but once you get the hang of it and tweak your mouse sensitivityappropriately, you can take to the skies with ease. You can quicklyswitch among flying, hovering, and landing/free-falling, and there are anumber of acrobatic maneuvers you trigger while flying to help youevade or pursue enemies. Alien UFOs are similarly maneuverable. Thismakes them formidable foes and means that youll be comfortable in thecockpit when you hijack one. Other vehicles arent as fun to fly as yourjetpack, but they do provide variety to aerial combat.

3- Click Setup.exe to Instal the Game
4- Copy All Content Crack Folder to the Folder Game Directory
