Nicktoons MLB is a kid-friendly baseball game starring Nickelodeon's cast of cartoon characters and the stars of Major League Baseball. It's a wacky, arcade-style baseball game, similar to 2K Sports' The Bigs. Nicktoons MLB is coming out for Kinect and Wii.

Nicktoons MLB features all 30 MLB teams, as well as dozens of Nicktoons characters with their own wacky baseball fields to play in. You can play with Major League teams, Nicktoons teams, or anamalgamation of the two.
Uh, how does that work
Well if you picked the Seattle Mariners, first up to bat would be Ichiro Suzuki, and following behind him would be SpongeBob Squarepants. Stimpy's pitching.

Yeah! Plus Powdered Toast Man, characters from Invader Zim, and Avatar the Last Airbender. Plus, abunch of current shows that are less exciting to anyone over the age of 15, but that your younger sibling/nephew/kid loves.
This kind of sounds rad/dumb, how rad/dumb is it
I think it's pretty neat, but I like the arcade style baseball games as a supplement to my realistic sports sims. Obviously this is for kids, so you'll likely need a small child to fully enjoy the product (not includedwith game). It's also the first baseball game on Kinect, and Kinect is in serious need of some sports titles.
Is there multiplayer
There is two player local multiplayer for every game mode, both with normal and motion controls.
How do the motion controls work
Exactly like you'd imagine. To pitch you make a throwing motion. The angle of your arm will determine which type of pitch you're throwing . Raising your arm straight up launches a fastball, while throwing diagonally sends a slider. Holding your arms like you're gripping a bat and then swinging is how you hit. The Wii controls work the same way, except you're swinging the Wii Remote like a bat. From my play time the motion controls worked pretty well, though getting the timing down for hitting took a few tries. The game can also be played with just your controller on the Xbox 360.
